Gorilla permits are not required for the Congo. The trekking is over only 5 to 8 kilometers of flat, muddy terrain. This African rainforest is home to the highest concentration of primates in the world as well as other diverse wildlife.

City situated on the banks of scenic Lake Tanganyika. Private lecture by Dr. Jane Goodall (www.janegoodall.org) about her work and the work of the Jane Goodall Institute. Each guest receives a personally autographed copy of one of Dr. Goodall's books. Opportunity to accompany a Jane Goodall Institute staff member on a visit to the Institute's various project sites.
